# Hotel lobby screens that fix themselves

> Canonical HTML: https://screenrig.ai/use-cases/hotels/

Elena runs IT for a 12-property hotel group. One message to Hermes puts tonight’s events and breakfast hours on every lobby screen. When a screen drops overnight, her agent wakes, brings it back and tells her about it in the morning.

## Hotel lobby screens, updated from a chat

The demo, scene by scene. Elena sends one message from her phone, and every lobby in the group changes.

1. **Tonight in the lobby.** A lobby screen shows tonight’s events and the breakfast hours.
2. **The old way.** A guest finds the lobby screen dark at breakfast, and the hotel waits for someone to come and power-cycle it.
3. **One message.** In her chat with Hermes, Elena writes: “Put tonight’s events and breakfast hours on every lobby screen.”
4. **Every property changes, with proof.** The lobby screens update across all 12 hotels, and screenshots come back in the chat.

## Remote screen monitoring that recovers on its own

A health alert wakes the agent, not a person. It tries the fixes someone on site would try, and asks for help only when the problem is physical.

5. **A screen drops at 2:14 a.m..** A lobby screen goes offline, and a webhook wakes Elena’s agent.
6. **Checked, reloaded, rebooted.** The agent checks the screen’s health, reloads it, then reboots it through the BrightSign shell, and confirms with a screenshot.
7. **A morning report.** Elena’s chat has a summary waiting: “Fixed 2 screens overnight. Room 312’s display is unplugged, so someone on site needs to look.”

## Hotel digital signage features

More of what a hotel group runs from its agent.

- **Health alerts.** Offline, back-online and health changes arrive as events and signed webhooks, so one can wake your agent.
- **Remote reboot on Players that support it.** BrightSign, managed Android and Linux kiosk installs reboot on request. Windows is coming soon.
- **Display hours that work even offline.** Each Player keeps its display schedule on the device, so screens sleep and wake without a connection.
- **Screenshots from every property.** Proof from one lobby or every hotel in the group.
