# Idempotency key does not match the original request

HTTP 409 · `idempotency_mismatch`

## What it means

The API answers with HTTP 409 Conflict and an `application/problem+json` document when the condition is Idempotency key does not match the original request. The document's `type` member is `https://screenrig.ai/problems/idempotency-mismatch`, the address of this page, and its `code` member is `idempotency_mismatch`.

## What to do

This idempotency key was already used for a different request. Retry the original request unchanged, or send the new request with a new key (Idempotency-Key / --idempotency-key).

## Player action

The Player action class is `retry_backoff`: Retry the same request on the backoff schedule, never sooner than Retry-After.
