## Data and privacy

This card uses its configured properties and live card data.

De-identified: a patient code and a stage, never a name.

## Properties

For theme, background, accent and position, see [Common properties](/docs/cards/#common-properties).

Set static properties in `params`. Bind `data` to a project card data key for live values; that document holds only dynamic properties. Without a data key, put the complete configuration in `params`. Nested rows describe the contents of their parent property.

### Static properties

| Name | Type | Default | Values and limits | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `title` | string | `"Surgery status"` | maxLength: `40` | |
| `hour12` | boolean | `false` | | |
| `timeZone` | string, null | `null` | | IANA zone; null uses the screen's zone. |

### Dynamic properties

| Name | Type | Default | Values and limits | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `patients` | array | `[]` | minItems: `0`; maxItems: `40` | The board, in the order shown. De-identified: a patient code and a stage, never a name. |
| `patients[].code` | string | | minLength: `2`; maxLength: `8`; Required | The code the family was given: letters, digits, # or -, with at least one digit. Anything else is left out. |
| `patients[].stage` | string | | `"checked-in"`, `"pre-op"`, `"surgery"`, `"recovery"`, `"ready"`; Required | checked-in, pre-op, surgery, recovery, or ready (ready to visit). |
| `patients[].since` | string | `""` | maxLength: `8` | When the stage began today, in the screen's zone: 11:05 or 11:05 AM. |
| `footnote` | string | `""` | maxLength: `140` | A line at the foot: where to wait, who will find you. |
