# Bracket card

> Canonical HTML: https://screenrig.ai/docs/cards/bracket/

A tournament on the wall: a single-elimination draw as a tree with seeds, scores, the match in play and the champion, split into two halves for a big draw or paged by round when it cannot fit, and a round-robin or Swiss table with the matches on now and next. Reads a league feed, or tournament data written to the data store.

## Data and privacy

Feed: `screenrig.game.bracket/v1`.

Feed documents carry source attribution. The Player supplies the feed to the card.

## Properties

For theme, background, accent and position, see [Common properties](/docs/cards/#common-properties).

Set static properties in `params`. Bind `data` to a project card data key for live values; that document holds only dynamic properties. Without a data key, put the complete configuration in `params`. Nested rows describe the contents of their parent property.

### Static properties

| Name | Type | Default | Values and limits | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `title` | string | `""` | maxLength: `40` | Empty uses the competition's name. |
| `teamColors` | boolean | `true` | | Team colours on the marks and bars; off keeps the theme's colours. |
| `type` | string | `"single"` | `"single"`, `"roundrobin"` | The kind of event when the document omits it: a single-elimination draw, or a round-robin or Swiss table. |
| `seeds` | boolean | `true` | | Show the seeds beside the names. |
| `hour12` | boolean | `false` | | |
| `timeZone` | string, null | `null` | | |

### Dynamic properties

| Name | Type | Default | Values and limits | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `game` | object, null | `null` | | The tournament as a screenrig.game.bracket/v1 document, for venues and clubs: an agent or a bridge writes it to the data store. Used when no feed is attached. |
